Chapter 2 Mr. Rong
Wine tasting room.
Located at the end of the cabin's corridor.
Different from the open lounge, the tasting room has good sound insulation and excellent privacy.
It not only protects the privacy of guests, but also allows them to experience the pleasure of wine tasting in an elegant and soft environment.
The wine room where Su Ti was located had wine racks surrounding three walls.
The tasting counter is equipped with cocktail tools and sets of crystal martini glasses.
Suti made a few cups of Whose Goose herself, but always felt that the taste was a little lacking.
I looked around but couldn't find the housekeeper's call bell.
Suti stood up angrily and planned to go to the corridor to find the waiter to order a few of Alan's special drinks.
The moment the door was opened, Suti was stunned by a startled voice.
"Miss, why are you in there?"
In the corridor, four senior cabin stewards lined up in a row looked at Su Ti in horror.
The butler who had spoken earlier urged, "Miss, this is a private wine tasting room and is not open to the public. Please leave quickly."
Su Ti's Cantonese is not very good. She can understand it but not speak it fluently.
Seeing this group of senior managers looking as if they were facing a great enemy, Su Ti was stunned, nodded and said sorry.
The scene was extremely embarrassing.
She certainly didn't know it was a private tasting room.
When I came here just now, no one stopped me.
However, that's how it happened.
Just as Su Ti pursed her lips and prepared to leave, and the housekeeper was busy re-cleaning the tasting room, a figure slowly appeared on the other side of the corridor.
When they saw the person coming, the four butlers stood still instantly, each with a panicked look on their face.
Su Ti was surprised, raised her eyes and looked over -
At the end of the corridor decorated with gorgeous French chandeliers, a tall man wearing an expensive dark-colored suit walked against the light on a thick carpet.
Perhaps the light from the chandelier and the spotlights on the wall was too strong, making the outline of the man's skeleton unclear.
As the other person approached, the outline of his handsome face gradually became three-dimensional.
Under the man's superior and full brow bones, the lines of his face were deep and strong, and in his narrow and long black eyes, which were filled with a slight soft light, there was a solemn and cold aloofness.
He just stood there in the light and shadow, reflecting a restrained and unruly aura for no reason, but if you looked closely, you could also read some gentlemanly and polite temperament.
Two completely different senses, contradictory yet unexpectedly integrated.
Su Ti couldn't help but look a few more times, until the butler spoke in unison, she came back to her senses.
"Mr. Rong."
The word "Mr. Rong" is both reserved and respectful.
Judging from the butler's attitude, this person must be of noble status and background.
If I leave now, I will inevitably be suspected of shirking responsibility after causing trouble.
Suti stood there, thinking about what to do.
The butler stepped forward to explain with great trepidation, even to the point of being a little nervous and incoherent.
Su Ti understood roughly what was said.
It means that she entered the wine tasting room without permission and disturbed Mr. Rong's interest.
That's true.
Su Ti admitted her recklessness in her not-so-fluent Cantonese, "I'm sorry, Mr. Rong, I didn't see the prohibited sign and I took over the wine room. I will compensate for the wine and utensils in it."
Mr. Rong slowly turned sideways, his gloomy gaze sweeping across the wine tasting room.
He said the word "no problem" in Mandarin casually.
The man's voice is low and magnetic, with a natural and mellow tail cavity, which slowly overflows from his thin lips, and is richer and sweeter than the aroma of wine floating around.
Su Ti heaved a sigh of relief for some reason, yet couldn't help but be surprised by the man's observance.
Could it be that her Cantonese is really not standard?
Su Ti turned around and was about to leave, but then she thought of something and asked, "Mr. Rong, who should I contact for compensation for the drinks?"
"You are a guest, so you don't have to spend money." The man raised his arm slowly, "Send this lady back."
When the man raised his hand, Suti caught sight of the black and gold pinky ring on his left little finger.
The pattern was not clear, but the color was unique. The senior butler responded and directed Su Ti, "Miss, this way please."
Suti apologized to the man again and then returned along the way she came.
On the way, passing the corridor of the wine tasting area, a person came towards us.
The other person was wearing a white shirt and black trousers, with his suit jacket casually draped over his right shoulder.
When the man passed by Suti, his playful eyes lingered on her face for a few seconds.
Su Ti had seen this kind of staring many times and didn't take it to heart.
I just felt vaguely that this person looked familiar, but for a moment I couldn't remember where I had seen him.
Su Ti shook her head, thinking that what happened tonight was really outrageous.
Mr. Rong said "Anyone who comes is a guest", Su Ti thought, maybe he is the host of tonight's cocktail party.
……
When Su Ti's figure disappeared around the corner of the corridor, Lin Cong, the prince of the Lin family in Hong Kong, happened to walk near the wine tasting room.
Lin Cong saw the man standing in the corridor smoking and asked suspiciously, "Why don't you go in?"
Rong Shaoting raised his eyelids slightly and raised his chin towards the wine tasting room.
Lin Cong looked inside the room and immediately became annoyed. "Has anyone been here?"
The cruise ship has three private wine tasting rooms, but this one never receives foreign guests.
Lin Cong saw four or five used martini glasses on the wine table and looked at the wine room butler with a sullen face.
The butler looked uneasy and hesitantly explained the whole story.
After hearing this, Lin Cong laughed, "She opened three bottles of wine by herself, and she only opened the expensive ones?"
From the tone, he didn't sound angry, but rather a bit joking.
Rong Shaoting's hand holding the cigarette paused at his lips, with a glimmer of restraint in his eyes, "Know him?"
Lin Cong: "A mainland girl who often comes to Hong Kong to hang out in bars with the second generation of the Jiang family. I have seen her several times. The second generation of the Jiang family, his father is Jiang Youshang, who made his fortune in Hong Kong by speculating in real estate in his early years. He worked diligently all his life, but in the end, both of his sons were not up to standard. One was a gambler and the other was a womanizer."
Rong Shaoting listened calmly without saying a word.
Soon, the housekeeper cleaned the tasting room again, put out a new tablecloth, took away the wine glasses, and turned on the thermostat to adjust the room to a precise and appropriate temperature.
Lin Cong was still explaining the Jiang family affairs to Rong Shaoting.
After not hearing a response for a long time, I turned around and saw Rong Shaoting's eyes fixed with interest on the tray held by the butler.
Lin Cong didn't understand what he meant and stared at it for a few seconds.
I didn't notice anything special.
Lin Cong asked him what he was looking at, but Rong Shaoting curled his lips and said nothing.
Recalling the girl I just met, she was wearing a black shoulder-wrapped dress and a Chinese-style low ponytail, and her temperament was quite calm. It really didn't seem like she was a bold and unrestrained person who drank in one gulp.
Because there is only a faint lip mark on the rim of each martini glass.
Obviously drink the glass as soon as you raise it.
This way of drinking is not like wine tasting, but more like alcoholism.
……
At 10:30 at night, the cruise ship entered Victoria Harbour and docked.
A warm, cool, salty and humid sea breeze blew in my face, seemingly blowing away the slight intoxication caused by alcohol.
Su Ti and Jiang Chen got off the boat together.
Even after getting into Uncle Chen's car, this guy was still chattering.
"You don't know Rong Shaoting? That person, even if my father comes, he has to call him Mr. Rong."
Su Ti looked out the window, too lazy to speak.
Originally, she did not match Mr. Rong, whom she met by chance in the wine tasting room, with the eldest son of the Rong family in Hong Kong City.
It is said that the eldest son of the Rong family is also the person in charge of Hong Kong.
Suti has watched many Hong Kong and Taiwan movies.
According to movie conventions, most of the people who make decisions are powerful and in their 50s...
Who would have thought that Rong Shaoting is only 29 years old.
Sure enough, there is a gap between Hong Kong culture and mainland cognition.
