Chapter 34 Asking for leave
The last time I talked about a patient at home, it was my father. He was a strong man all his life, but he finally succumbed to cancer. When he was diagnosed, it was in the late stage of liver cancer, the tumor was 20 centimeters, and there was no cure. No doctor was willing to take surgery or intervention. After struggling for a long time, he finally had to choose conservative treatment. Dad slept almost all day, seldom ate, and the complications were increasing day by day.
