Chapter 191 Sleeping
Qiao Susu was quickly carried by Luka to the private flying ship, with Labeli and Sang Yan following closely behind.
First, the medical team gave her a comprehensive examination, and then Libery had more than a dozen of her favorite meals and snacks brought to her. The man insisted on not letting her eat anything and fed her every bite.
Sang Yan picked some blooming flowers from somewhere and placed them on the head of her bed. There were still dewdrops on the petals, which were full of vitality and filled the room with freshness.
Luka slept with her in the medical cabin. Qiao Suisui felt relieved when she smelled his familiar scent again. She didn't dare to sleep when she was locked up in the base before, but now she can finally have a good sleep.
Her head rested on Luka's arm, her body curled up slightly, and the man held her in his arms.
Qiao Suisui felt her consciousness gradually sinking. As she closed her eyes, she pinched Luka's collar and whispered, "Wake me up when we get here."
The man kissed her forehead lovingly, "Well, go to sleep."
When Zong Fang came back, he cleaned himself up before going to see Qiao Sui Sui. He approached quietly and saw that she was sleeping, her delicate face was very peaceful, and Zong Fang couldn't help but smile with relief.
Luka turned his head to look at Zongfang, the two men looked at each other, then Zongfang walked out, and Luka gently and slowly pulled out his arm. His big hand supported her neck, let her sleep on the pillow, tucked her in, and finally kissed her on the lips before closing the door of the medical cabin and leaving with Zongfang.
"What about people?"
"died."
Luka was silent, frowned and said, "Are you sure?"
Zongfang nodded. "He was already dying when I found him. Maybe he just wanted to know if Qiao Qiao was safe, so he kept holding on and refused to close his eyes. I told him that Qiao Qiao was fine, and he died in a few minutes."
Luka closed his eyes and pressed his forehead. "Didn't you leave any message?"
Zongfang hesitated for a moment, but still said, "Tell her not to tell her."
Luka frowned slightly, with a hint of disappointment and more of sadness. "It's best not to hide this kind of thing."
He had previously kept Anubis's capture a secret from Qiao Suisui because she was pregnant and he didn't want to disturb her emotions. He was also betting that he could rescue the person, bring Anubis to her, and explain to her properly so that she wouldn't be angry with him. But the situation is completely different now. Suisui is no longer in danger, and she will definitely go to find Anubis as soon as possible. When she finds out that Anubis is dead, and she is the last one to know, how will she feel?
Zongfang thought the same as him, but he had promised Anubis after all. No matter what the relationship between the two was, after a person dies, he must be loyal to the person he is loyal to.
He said, “I’m not going to tell her.”
Luka glanced at him and immediately understood what he meant. "Then I'll tell you."
Zongfang said nothing, just nodded and went in.
There always seems to be a tacit understanding between strong people. Zong Fang and Luka have fought before. Putting aside the factor of Qiao Susu, in fact, both of them have a hidden respect for each other in their hearts, but they don't show it on the surface.
The ship traveled at the speed of light in the interstellar orbit, and a full night had passed when it arrived at Osland. When the pilot had just stopped, he suddenly saw a huge black hole appear on the glass opposite him.
A red-headed man poked his head out of the hole cursing. He stepped on the operating table and jumped to the ground, looking like he was going to hit someone.
"I'm so fucking convinced. It's fine if I work for his father, but now I'm being schemed against. To win his favor, I have to compete with my father. Fuck!"
The pilot was confused and had no idea what he was saying. When he came to his senses, he immediately pressed the alarm of the aircraft.
The entire ship was automatically locked immediately, and a red light flashed overhead.
Carl turned around and saw the pilot huddled in the corner. He glanced at him speechlessly and rushed to the middle of the ship with his long legs.
At this time, Sang Yan heard the alarm and came out. When he saw that it was Carl who came back, he was stunned for a moment.
"Why are you looking at me? Where is she?" Carl was very angry and didn't like everyone.
Sang Yan said, "She's fine, she's asleep." Hearing Sang Yan say that Qiao Susui was still asleep, Karl lowered his voice unconsciously. Although he wanted to see her immediately, when he thought that she might not have slept well during this period, he suppressed his surging emotions and covered them up with jokes.
He walked over and grabbed Sang Yan's shoulders, whispering in his ear: "Do you want to stay with her?"
Sang Yan was stunned and lowered his head, neither admitting nor denying.
Carl smiled crookedly and continued, "I know what you think, but you have to get past someone first."
"Colonel Scorsese?"
Carl shook his head and analyzed for him seriously: "Sicoses only looks distant, but he is actually very tolerant. The one you really need to work hard on is Zongfang."
Sang Yan lowered his eyes in thought, and after a while he raised his eyes and asked Karl: "You want to use me to deal with Zong Fang?"
Carl choked and looked a little embarrassed, but then he said frankly: "You have a good brain, you are worthy of being my teammate."
Sang Yan didn't know when he became a member of his team.
Karl crossed his arms and said, "To say you're taking advantage of me is a bit too much. I just want you to support Zongfang when you're free, and not have him always stay by Sui Sui's side. But if you don't want to, forget it. I don't like to force people."
"I can."
Karl raised his eyebrows and looked at Sang Yan in front of him with interest.
Sang Yan said to Karl seriously, “I just want to chat with her occasionally. It’s enough to see her.”
Karl was not afraid of Sang Yan at first, but when he heard him say that, he regretted his impulsiveness. Sang Yan was usually quiet, but he treated people sincerely. After a long time, even he couldn't bear to bully him. Sui Sui was soft-hearted. Is it really right to put such a person who won her favor imperceptibly by her side? It seems that he was really mad at the old man Zong Yan. He was fooled by him and finally detained in the Federation. When he came to his senses and realized that he was stalling for time, Zong Fang had already taken Sui Sui away.
Daddy's boy.
Impressed!
Karl waved his hand to dispel his annoyance, and said without admitting it: “I’m just kidding, don’t take it seriously.”
He ignored Sang Yan's dimmed eyes and turned to go to Qiao Susu's room. When he reached the door, he heard Libery's voice coming from inside.
"She hasn't woken up yet? She's been sleeping for a whole day and night. At least tell her to eat something before going to sleep."
Zongfang said, "She is very tired, let her sleep."
Luka glanced at his watch and used the central control to inquire about the situation outside. He learned that the flying ship had landed safely and that everything in the imperial court was ready, so he said, "I'll go call her."
The door of the medical cabin was opened after the airbag was released, and the man's tone, which had originally been emotionless, became gentle the next second.
"Sui Sui, we're here."
Luka stroked her hair, kissed her eyes gently, and called her softly.
But the person who was sleeping peacefully did not respond.
Zong Fang frowned, and immediately realized something was wrong. He strode over, took her hand and shouted, "Qiao Qiao, wake up."
Liberi reacted quickly and shouted for the medical team outside to come in. Carl rushed in in a panic, knelt beside her cabin and held her face with both hands, "Good girl, don't scare me." Carl looked at the men around him and shouted, "Didn't you say she's okay?"
Zong Fang didn't listen to what others were saying, and just examined her quickly and carefully.
