Chapter 285 Author's words (careful reading)
After 145 days, the series ends today, bringing it to a perfect conclusion.
The story is now very complete, but Qiao Susu's life has just begun.
The ending I set at the beginning was not written. I always thought that the ending should have a big climax and big news, but on the contrary, I hope that this time the story will just go on in a plain way without any sense of ending. This is not sloppy, but a choice of unfinished business.
Because Qiao Suisui's subsequent journey will definitely become more and more exciting. Rather than saying it is an end, it is better to say it is a new beginning. And all of this must leave room for readers' imagination.
Old readers who are familiar with me may know that I always write a review after finishing a book, so this book is no exception. Next, I will talk about the conception of the creative process. Interested readers can feel it with me and see if my understanding of this work is the same as yours?
But before I start, let me say something from my heart. This book has been serialized for five months, and I don’t know how to express my gratitude to you who have walked with me for these five months. Thank you so much.
Although most people still like to read completed works, I prefer readers who follow serialized works.
It is you who gave me inspiration, support, encouragement and warmth, and accompanied me through the 60 words.
During these five months, a lot of changes have taken place in my real life. I moved, looked for a job, adapted to a new environment, worked on an extremely difficult project, my boss ran away, I had a disagreement with the CEO, was PUA by my superior, got sick, and resigned. Of course, my life is not all bad. This book is a surprise for me, although I didn’t dare to read the comments during the peak period of traffic because there were all kinds of voices.
But the fact that you have read this far means that you already know me and know that I am a fragile and brittle author, haha.
I often say that I am lucky because my readers love me so much.
It is precisely because of this special "favor" that I feel I have an obligation to bring you a better story. The new book will be updated in the QQ group and Weibo. This time I want to write about a bad woman who can easily move between various men.
Now, let me tell you about the conception of this book.
Actually, at the beginning I wanted to tell a story about a pampered protagonist. It's not impossible to write a purely sweet story, but I always enter the 'sage time' and feel that it's all fake. I have never met such a man in all my years. Then I have to rely on my imagination to create a perfect and high-quality man to make readers fall into the fantasy of love.
This is how you can make money, but it really doesn’t feel right.
So I made comparison groups in the book, comparing reality with games; virtual reality with reality; Guan Weizhi, Han Chen, Luka, and Zong Fang.
In the end, Qiao Suisui completed a journey of self-transformation, not only gaining love in the game, but also gaining a career in reality. I believe everyone can feel the changes in the protagonist before and after. She is not a single flat and delicate heroine, nor can she be regarded as a heroine, but a girl who has grown step by step to be independent and confident after experiencing all kinds of things.
I am just not very satisfied with the design of this story line. I can write about emotions and atmosphere just by writing casually, but I can't write a thousand words in a day when writing plots. I will learn and improve my plot writing skills. The ideal way is to write two lines in parallel, with the emotional line and the plot line promoting each other.
Regarding the emotional flow, I have a little experience, which is that shaping the relationship between characters is more important than imposing a story.
In fact, no matter which book I write to the end, it is the relationships and personalities of the characters that push me forward. When I say this, the readers know that this is what Zongfang would say.
When this choice appears, the reader instantly understands that this is the choice the character would make.
So I think only existing characters have stories.
Regarding the controversial element of "giving birth", I am not really keen on it, so I did not describe the daily life of the cubs in great detail, and even deliberately stripped the heroine of her identity as a "mother". Because I want everyone to think after reading it: Do women need conditions to be loved? What are these conditions? Fertility value? Beauty? Scarcity? Or am I a good mother?
In fact, after writing this ending, the answer in my mind is very clear——
It is no longer important whether you are loved by a man or not. What is important is that you love yourself. You have the ability to be independent, the confidence to take the initiative to love, and the belief to create everything. In the face of these cognitions, does it matter who loves you or not? In other words, does it matter who loves you because of your conditions?
You can indulge yourself in love with a clear mind because you know that you are the most important and it doesn’t matter who leaves.
And when you have this realization, you will find that the people or things you have been holding on to will automatically approach you.
Looking back, the significance of my writing "Lian Jiao" was that it was the first time I completed a long novel. The heroine was reborn three times, from saving her brother to finally saving her country. The male characters in this book were better portrayed than the female characters, so I reflected on my own problems and no longer regarded the heroine as a tool to promote the plot. So I wrote the second book "I Didn't Mean to Become a God". This book is a group portrait. Every character in it, whether male or female, even a small supporting role, I have made flesh and blood. This is a story about a fake goddess who becomes a real goddess after experiencing all kinds of human conditions. Although everyone who has read it says it is good, not many people read it. (Both books were posted on Tomato, maybe Tomato is my nemesis)
So I started to think about what went wrong. Was it because I was born with a cold constitution that meant I had no data flow?
After that, I wrote this book called “I Can’t Stand Being the Only Female in the World of Beasts”. You can tell my commercialism from the title, haha.
But there is no other way. As an author, I have to follow the market. When I was the poorest, I only made a few cents a day for a 20-word book. I couldn't hold on any longer, so I went to work and continued to write books. During that period, no matter how late I worked overtime, the first thing I did when I got home was to write 4000 words. The latest time I wrote was one or two in the morning.
This is why I am very grateful to the readers who follow the serials. I also appeal to everyone that once you discover a good story, do not be stingy with your praise and encouragement, because this may be the only source of motivation for an author.
Actually, there are pirated copies of this book. I have always known about it, but I have never been too concerned about it. I still hope that everyone supports the genuine version. At the same time, I think that if my words can make you feel a little different in reality, make you happy, make you cry, and let you breathe in depression, then no matter what form it takes, I am very grateful for our meeting.
Finally, I hope everyone will remember me, Mr. Wuyin, a crispy author who specializes in making food for one woman and multiple men.
Goodbye!
