Chapter 9: Trespassing
Along the way, An Ruxu flew his sword so fast that it felt as if a wolf was chasing him.
He flew back to his residence in one breath, only to find that he had forgotten Jiang Lisheng behind him. He held the sword, thinking hesitantly, "Junior Sister Jiang should have a strong sense of direction, right? Can she find her way back to her residence? She won't get lost, right?"
He was so embarrassed that he wanted to go back to his room and hide away, especially when Junior Sister Jiang smiled at him and said, "It's not wrong to be liked by girls." He almost choked.
He thought that he really didn't mess with girls randomly. He would return the favor whenever someone came and never took advantage of others. But he couldn't be sure that he had acted inappropriately in the past, thinking that they were all fellow disciples and helping each other was fine, and he really messed with them.
He wants to cry!
He stayed there for a while, but finally flew back on his sword to look for her. This was Junior Sister Jiang's first time in Kunlun, and she was not familiar with anywhere, so he had to make sure she didn't get lost.
Jiang Lisheng really lost himself.
She listened to An Ruxu's advice, and thus, she overcame her fear of heights, recited the incantation, and charged forward on the sword for a while. She actually managed to speed up, but because she was charging forward, she forgot to turn where she was supposed to turn. When she came to her senses, she could no longer find the way.
There was vast fog all around, and no buildings or houses were visible.
Where is she?
She put down her sword and stood there in a daze.
"Who is trespassing in the forbidden area?" an old voice shouted, "Get out!"
Jiang Lisheng was startled. Did she break into Kunlun's forbidden area? She immediately turned around and left.
Perhaps the other party thought she had bad intentions, and a golden light suddenly shot towards her. Jiang Lisheng turned around in horror and swung his sword to meet the light. However, the newly bought broken sword shattered into pieces with a "crack", and Jiang Lisheng was knocked back several feet and hit against a tree trunk.
Her blood was boiling and reached her throat, but she didn't spit it out. Before she could recover, the opponent swung a sword in the air again. The sword was so powerful that it would be the end of her if it hit her. Jiang Lisheng rolled on the ground for several feet and barely avoided the sword.
"Huh? You have some skills. No wonder you trespassed into the forbidden area." The old voice sounded coldly and angrily, and he drew his sword again.
This sword was like a skynet, with dense sword energy. No matter how Jiang Lisheng rolled, he could not get out of the cage set up by the sword energy.
She lay on the ground exhausted and helpless. She simply gave up hiding and decided to die!
Her master will collect her soul.
Just as the sword energy was about to pierce a hundred or eighty holes in her, suddenly a sword came flying from the side, like a gentle breeze or falling snow, and instantly dissolved the sword energy.
Jiang Lisheng opened her eyes wide. Who was so cute to save her? She must thank him.
She immediately took the opportunity to get up from the ground, and saw a person floating down in front of her. He was wearing a long scarlet robe, brocade color, tall and slender, and looked very elegant.
Wei Qinglan.
Jiang Lisheng was about to cry. How could she thank him for saving her life? Should she thank him herself or let her master thank her?
She hesitated, not knowing what to do. Was she in big trouble again?
Wei Qinglan turned around to look at her, his eyes were indifferent and without any emotion, "Why are you here?"
Jiang Lisheng quickly looked up at him, lowered his head, and whispered, "Lost."
"How did you get lost?"
Jiang Lisheng explained, "Brother An and I went to the Sword Hall to buy a sword. Because I was not good at flying a sword, I followed Brother An's advice and practiced flying a sword. Then when I came to my senses, I was already lost. I don't know how I got into the forbidden area." "Nonsense!" An old voice scolded, "You have ulterior motives. There is a warning monument outside that is as tall as a person. Didn't you see it?"
Jiang Lisheng was extremely depressed, "I really didn't see it."
"Search your soul!" An old man with gray hair and beard came out and stared at Jiang Lisheng with a bad look on his face. "You are so young, but you are telling lies. Do you know what crime you are committing by trespassing into a forbidden area?"
"Uncle Master Qi, she is a new disciple to Kunlun. Maybe she really is lost." Wei Qinglan turned around and greeted the old man.
Qi Baicheng said decisively, "Impossible, a new disciple couldn't take one of my moves, but she took two of my moves and is still standing here unscathed."
Jiang Lisheng looked at the old man and said helplessly, "Because I am..."
"Master Uncle Qi, I'm here to search her soul." Wei Qinglan interrupted her, "If she is really lost, please let her go this time. A new disciple is so reckless. Master just went into seclusion yesterday. If she enters the forbidden area without permission, it will be a crime to disturb Master. It is not appropriate to disturb Master now."
Qi Baicheng stared at Wei Qinglan in confusion, "What is your relationship with her?"
Wei Qinglan shook her head. "It's okay. He's just a new disciple. He just entered the sect yesterday and hasn't learned the rules of Kunlun Sect yet. If it really wasn't intentional, he should be forgiven."
Qi Baicheng snorted coldly, looking at the new disciple uniform and low-level storage bag on Jiang Lisheng, and said with a dark face: "Okay, you come to search the soul, and you are not allowed to cover up."
Wei Qinglan responded, "No."
He turned around and faced Jiang Lisheng, "Are you willing to let me search your soul? I will only search your soul for this matter."
Jiang Lisheng nodded and stood obediently, "Brother Wei, please."
Seeing that she agreed, Wei Qinglan reached out and pressed his hand on the top of her head, and his spiritual power formed a circle of light and entered her sea of consciousness.
Jiang Lisheng had never had her soul searched before, so it was quite new to her. She had no intention of resisting or putting up a fight. Although the aura around him was as cold as snow, the spiritual power that entered her sea of consciousness was extremely soft, just like the feeling that his sword gave her, like a gentle breeze blowing on the snow, and it did not make her feel uncomfortable.
She knew advanced soul-searching techniques that would not damage a person's sea of consciousness or the brain. Wei Qinglan's soul-searching did not make her feel uncomfortable, which showed that as a young genius from Kunlun, his strength and reputation were truly worthy of their reputation.
After a moment, Wei Qinglan withdrew his hand, looked at Jiang Lisheng with a strange expression, turned around and raised his hand to the old man who was staring at him, "Uncle Master, please look, we are indeed lost."
In a circle of cotton-like light, Jiang Lisheng came out of the sword hall and focused on flying the sword. She flew so fast that she almost dropped the sword several times. Later, she just focused on the sword. Unknowingly, she broke into the forbidden area and found herself lost. She looked dazed but it was very clear.
Qi Baicheng was speechless. "You are just a sword master, as stupid as an ox. Get lost!"
Seeing that he didn't mention any punishment, Jiang Lisheng turned around and left. She had to leave quickly, fearing that she would be too slow, and told her to get out of Kunlun.
Wei Qinglan waved her hand to stop her, "I'll take you out."
Jiang Lisheng stopped and to be honest, he didn't want him to see him off.
Wei Qinglan seemed to see what she was thinking, and said calmly, "It's a bit far from the exit, so you don't get lost and run into places you shouldn't go to."
Jiang Lisheng said "Oh", followed him silently, and thanked him quietly, "Thank you, Senior Brother Wei."
